The Hot Air Balloon

The meaning of the logotype

The logotype - fruit of the creative collaboration with the Venice branch of the European Institute of Design - is based on a metaphor, that of the hot air balloon, which in order to fly needs to leave the weights and ballasts that keep it stationary on the ground, but also some warmth and a good wind to direct it. Per volare, una mongolfiera deve lasciare a terra i pesi e le zavorre che la trattengono, ma ha anche bisogno di calore e di un buon vento che la sostenga e la orienti.

In the Fondazione De Rigo ETS logo, the ballast symbolizes the weight of the challenges many less fortunate people face. A real burden, but not a permanent one: something that can be let go, to begin rising.

The role of The Foundation

"The ‘fair wind’ represents the Foundation itself. Its commitment is to accompany and guide individuals on their journey, helping them find the right course to achieve their goals and turn their dreams into reality.

Mission H.E.ART

Since 2018, Fondazione De Rigo ETS has supported young people in gaining full access to fundamental rights such as health and education.
At the same time, it promotes the development of their identity and talent by supporting artistic and cultural projects.

This vision led to the creation of the acronym H.E.ART (Health, Education and Art for Youth), which encompasses the three pillars of the Foundation’s commitment.

By letter from the Italian Revenue Agency dated 11 January 2021, Fondazione Ennio De Rigo ETS was entered into the Single Register of Third Sector Entities pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 117/2017 – the Third Sector Code (CTS). This recognition entails greater responsibilities for the Foundation, but also provides tax benefits for those who choose to support its activities.
