The Fondazione De Rigo supports Mototherapy

The Fondazione De Rigo has decided to support Mototherapy, which is coming to Belluno for the first time. Strongly endorsed by Alvaro Dal Farra, A.S.D.  Radius, A.S.D. Vanni FMX and the DaBoot team and sponsored by the Municipality of Belluno, the event will take place on 5 June in Piazza dei Martiri.

The purpose of Mototherapy is to provide disabled individuals and students with the opportunity to engage in sports activities and socialise, raising awareness of how to lift the spirits of people with disabilities.

That said, mototherapy will not be the only focus of the event. In addition to the great Freestyle Motocross show, many other disciplines - all to be tried out - will bring the piazza to life, transforming it into a fun park to all intents and purposes, dedicated to disabled individuals and young people.
 

There will be countless activities, sports and experiences to be enjoyed at the event:

• Freestyle motocross and mototherapy with a motorbike ride for the disabled on the riders' bikes.
• Super Car Tour. A tour of the city in sports cars including Porsches, Lotuses and other convertibles and racing cars.
• Kawasaki Bike Test. The possibility to admire the new road bikes made available by Kawasaki Italia and Tecno Sport with the opportunity of a road test for those in possession of a type-A driving licence.
• Shoei Helmet Test. The Japanese company will be displaying its new collections of safety devices and giving people the chance to try out all the available models.
• Meeting with the police. The Police, Local Police and Fire Brigade will be stationed in the piazza with officers and vehicles to illustrate their activities.
• Tennis and Wheelchair Basketball.
• BMX, skateboarding and in-line skating with skill demonstrations.
• Artistic gymnastics and Body Pump for a fun motor experience.
• Simulation of rescue and fire-fighting.
• Testing of new wheelchairs equipped with the triride attachment.
• Exhibition of cars adapted for driving with disabilities.

Several guests from the world of sport - local and otherwise - will be present, while 300 disabled people with various pathologies are expected to arrive from all over the north-east and several schools in the province.

Programme:

9:00 – 10:00. Welcoming of the guests

9:00 – 10:45. Possibility to try out the activities in the Mototherapy area, accompanied by volunteers from our staff

10:45 – 12:00. Freestyle Motocross Show and Mototherapy

12:00 – 16:00. Continuation of activities

12:30 – 13:30. Lunch in the piazza for the guests
